Who’s More Desperate? CNN Travels to Thailand to Interview Jailed Russian Prostitute Offering Dirt on Trump In Exchange For Asylum

Less than a month after one of its reporters literally dug through a dumpster in St. Petersburg looking for evidence of Trump-Russian ties, CNN is at it again.

CNN sent reporter to Thailand to interview Anastasia Vashukevich, a prostitute currently in jail for working in the country without a permit.

The bait? Vashukevich has claims to have proof of Russian meddling in the 2016 US presidential election, specifically regarding conspiracy theories that the Trump campaign directly colluded with Moscow. She claims to have both audio recordings and photos of alleged meetings between campaign staff and Russian officials.

“I’m ready to give you all the missing puzzle pieces, support them with videos and audios, regarding the connections of our respected lawmakers with Trump, Manafort and the rest. I know a lot. I’m waiting for your offers and I’m waiting for you in a Thai prison,” she said.

The catch? She’ll spill the details if the US government grants her asylum.

“I am ready to help with an investigation if they help us get out of here,” she added.
